lionking.org Web site owner comments
Hello, I would like to know where on my site you "entered your e-mail address" or "signed up". The only place I can think you might mean is the guest book, and the only required field on that is the name. You're perfectly free not to enter an e-mail address. In fact, you're perfectly free not to use it at all. It's a guest book. And I have enough trouble weeding out spammers from that to do any spamming of my own, wouldn't you think? There's also a feedback form, and that does nothing but send a formatted e-mail message to me. I do not send out any mass e-mailings to anybody. I keep no list of visitors or any of their contact information. Unix user accounts on the lionking.org server are created by personal contact with me, not through any web form. If your problem is with a user on my site (with a ~user page), kindly bring it to my attention and I will deal with the situation. I realize this is all probably just a robot I'm talking to, but it would be marvelous if you simply contacted me if you had some problem with the "spamminess" of e-mails you might have received in the weeks subsequent to your "signing up" with my site, which still mystifies me as there is no way to "sign up" that I'm aware of. Thank you.
